Mondays at 5:00-6:15 pm & Tuesdays at 5:15-6:30 pm

No class on January 20, February 17, or March 31 - April 4

Dancers will increase strength and flexibility through balance, body control, dynamics, and simple patterns through space. Dancers will apply the elements of dance: space, time, and energy. They will begin to work in groups to problem solve and express ideas through putting movement patterns together into dance phrases. Dancers will learn basic modern dance technique, as well as expand creative development through improvisation and choreography. They will explore ways to express ideas using space, time, and energy, as well as increase performance skills.

These classes culminate in a final performance at the Ellen Eccles Theatre on May 2nd, 2025. (Tickets sold separately.)
